The Podcasts

Spring has sproinged in Northern California!  I have put on my shorts for the first time this year (but it's cold again so back to warmer stuff). There are frogs, lots of frogs around the house both in our pond and spaced very evenly along the edges of the pool cover. Luck seems to have happened because now there is frog spawn attached to the edges and underside of the cover. Stay tuned for a tadpole update in the next episode!

I was unable to attend Stitches West this year so my friend Sharon kindly gives us a run down on what it was like.

I talk on and on about RV-ing and some wonderful, little visited parks in the northern part of Utah.  I also talk about the American Sewing Guild, a book review about how to knit toys and of course, what's on my needles.

I just had to comment on Goblin Valley. We went there several years ago. We didn't want to backtrack to the highway so we tried the dirt road out of there. BIG MISTAKE. We were in a rented Baretta and the road was hazardous to say the least. We got to a fork and couldn't tell which was the road and which was the riverbed. We guessed and I'm still not sure we were on the road. For over 25 miles, we never saw another living soul except for a chipmunk . We came to a small waterway. I wanted to get out and see how deep it was, but hubby said it didn't matter, we were going to cross it anyway. We entered the water with a big thump and made it across. We saw a sign up ahead on the opposite side of the road which read "High Clearance Vehicles Only!" After about 2 hours we came upon pavement again and our shortcut wasn't so short.
    Love your pod cast.
